Our infant room is equipped for children between the ages of six weeks and sixteen months. The adult to child ratio, at most, is one to four. We will encourage hands on, explorative learning with developmentally appropriate activities and materials. Your child will remain in the infant room until the last day of his/her fifteenth month. We may make exceptions at fifteen and a half months, depending on the developmental abilities of each child and the space available in the toddler room. We will transition your child when it is time to move to the next classroom to give them time to adjust.
The curriculum for infants is created to meet the unique needs if each child based on the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress. Each learning domain will be addressed to give each infant the opportunities to grow and develop to their full potential. Parent conferences are held twice a year to share formal feedback with families.
