All Day, Every Day of the Week Preschool Program
Preschoolers have a lot of energy and even more questions. We’re ready for them! Our all-day, every-day preschool program provides care, encouragement, learning, and listening opportunities that set the stage for Kindergarten.
Our professional childcare team gets to know your preschooler so we can create fun and educational activities that nurture their curiosity and build their confidence. Children have opportunities to explore language, music, art, pretend play, imaginative play, and manipulatives.
Merry Moose Childcare and Preschool offers full-time and part-time programs as well as drop-in care when space allows. We have preschool centers in Richmond, Rockville, and Cold Spring for children between the ages of 2.5 years and 5 years. We’re happy to answer your questions – and your preschooler’s questions, too!

Preschool CurriculumThe Merry Moose preschool curriculum is created to meet the unique needs of each child based on the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress. Each learning domain will be addressed to give your child opportunities to grow and develop to their full potential.
Children learn at different rates and in different ways, and we encourage the process versus praise the result. Our program strikes a balance between teacher-led learning activities and child-led activities. Your preschooler will be encouraged to participate in activities that build their social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical abilities. Weather permitting, your preschooler will go outside each day for free play and some structured activities. Parent conferences are held twice a year to share formal feedback with families. |
